# Automated Shopify tags for referral orders/customers

This feature allows you to automatically assign Shopify tags to orders and customers generated through affiliate referrals, making it easy to distinguish referral activity from non-referral activity in your Shopify admin.

You will find it in **Settings > General**

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/0zy0q3x8pfsVxBJz0Ni7" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

You can choose to apply tags to:

* **Orders** created through affiliate referrals
* **Customers** referred by affiliates

Tags can be entered as a **comma-separated list**, and each tag can include dynamic variables such as: `{full_name}`, `{email}`, `{phone}`, `{company}`, `{commission}`, `{username}`
