Gifts

Gifts are free products or discounts that you can send to affiliates as a welcome gesture when they join the affiliate program or as a performance bonus that doesn't require a trigger condition.

1. Set up and send gifts automatically

To set up a Gift, you must first go to Extra functions > Gifts > Create gift.

Next, to label this gift, please input the Gift name.

If you'd like to automatically send gifts to affiliates when they join your program(s), check the box and select the program(s) for which you want to deliver gifts to newly registered affiliates.

You can choose either a free Product or a Discount code as the Gift type. The free Product option allows affiliates to receive product(s) at no cost, while the Discount code option provides them with a discount on selected products, with the discount amount set by you.

Here, you browse for product(s) that the gift should apply to.

Then please click Add.

You must also input the maximum quantity of each product and the number of products each affiliate can claim per order.

Finally, click Save.

2. Send gifts manually

Besides auto-generating gifts for newly registered affiliates, you can also send gifts manually to selected affiliate(s) at the same time.

Here, please click on Send gift.

And select affiliates that should receive these gifts manually. Finally, click Send gifts.

3. Claim gifts

As an affiliate, I can claim my gift in the affiliate admin section.

Please click Redeem.

As I'm allowed to claim one product from the available gifts, I'll proceed with selecting a product I want and fill in my shipping information. Finally, I click on the Redeem button.

4. Check gifts' redeem status

Here in Gifts history, you can see whether a gift has been Sent (not yet redeemed), Canceled (before redeeming), or Redeemed. If successfully redeemed, there will also be information regarding the gift's actual value in use and its order number.

5. Edit the email template for gift notifications

Please click on this Edit email template button.

Here, you can edit the email template that is sent to affiliates whenever they receive a gift from your store and send a test email.
