# Bonus for outstanding performances

## 1. What is Performance bonus?

Not many things could be accomplished without proper rewards - so does affiliate marketing. Getting your rewards right is essential because while finding new quality affiliates from scratch takes time and effort, keeping them motivated and engaged is often way easier and more cost-effective. **Performance bonus** has a huge impact on making sure affiliates will stay loyal and work harder on lending their trustworthy voices to promote your business. What merchant wouldn’t want to show gratitude to their affiliates for constantly bringing all those sales anyway?

## 2. How to set up

The **Performance bonus** feature can be found in the **Extra functions** tab, under the **Motivate affiliates** section.

To set up a **One-time bonus** or **Recurring bonus**, you must click the **New bonus** button and set up its rules!

After a **One-time bonus** or **Recurring bonus** is set, it will also be displayed on the **Affiliate dashboard**.
