There are three ways to assign a coupon to an affiliate.
1. Auto-Assign Coupons (Customer Discount) 👉 Recommended
With this method, merchants can automatically assign coupons to all affiliates within a program, making it easy to manage and ensuring consistency. It saves time, reduces manual effort, and ensures all affiliates within the program receive their coupons efficiently.
There are two types of coupons: Static Coupons, which are fixed and sharable, and Dynamic Coupons, which are automatically generated after clicking affiliate links.
Go to Programs > Edit program > Customer Discount
After a coupon is created, a coupon template will be generated in the Coupons tab for easy management. You can edit this template, and all coupons under that template will be updated accordingly.
Merchants can manually assign a coupon to a specific affiliate. This method is useful for personalizing offers, testing different strategies, or providing exclusive discounts to selected affiliates.
Go to Coupons > Codes > Assign coupon
This method allows merchants to assign coupons to multiple affiliates at once, which is ideal for seasonal promotions or large-scale campaigns. It streamlines the process and ensures multiple affiliates receive their codes simultaneously without manual effort.
Go to Coupons > Codes > Assign coupon
Once the coupons are bulk-assigned, a coupon template will also be created in the Coupons tab. This allows you to easily edit the template later, and the changes will apply to all coupons within that template.
Edit Coupon Name
Merchants can modify the coupon name or template to match their branding or update details as needed. This ensures consistency in naming conventions and keeps the offers relevant.
Go to Coupons > Codes > Click on the coupon
Allow affiliates to edit coupon codes
Empower your affiliates with the ability to customize their coupon codes to better align with their branding or promotional strategies.
Once you have enabled the feature, affiliates can edit their coupon codes on the Affiliate dashboard.
Delete Coupons
If a coupon is no longer needed, merchants can remove it from the system. This helps keep the coupon list organized and prevents the use of outdated or expired discounts.
Go to Coupons > Codes
Affiliates can log in to the Affiliate Dashboard to retrieve their coupons. For Dynamic Coupons, affiliates only need to share their affiliate link with customers, and the coupon will be automatically generated when customers click the link.
Affiliates have two options to share coupons:
Share the affiliate link: The coupon is automatically applied at checkout when customers make a purchase.
Share the coupon code directly: Customers manually enter the coupon at checkout.
When a customer makes a purchase using the coupon, they receive a discount, and the affiliate earns a commission.
By default, Dynamic Coupons are always auto-applied at checkout when a customer clicks an affiliate link (this cannot be turned off).
For Static Coupons, you must manually enable the option "Auto-applied when customer uses affiliate link" when setting up the coupon.
To disable this feature for Static Coupons, simply uncheck the “Auto-applied” box during coupon setup.
This setting allows you to control whether coupons are applied automatically or if customers need to enter them manually at checkout.
To check if an order is attributed to a coupon or affiliate link, go to the Conversions tab in the BixGrow app.
Yes, a single affiliate can be assigned multiple coupon codes. This allows them to use different codes for different campaigns or target audiences.
In this situation, the first assigned coupon will be auto-applied at checkout.
By choosing the Combinations while setting up affiliate coupons, customers will be able to use more than one coupon on an order.
Yes, affiliates can earn commissions if customers purchase using affiliate coupons or affiliate links. It is not compulsory to use both of them at the same time.
