Other advanced commission rules

Advanced commission rules allow you to add different rules for orders that meet specific conditions of Coupon, Customer, or Lifetime tracking. These rules will override the default commission.

To set up Advanced commission rules for your program, you must first go to Program > Edit > Show advanced commission setups.

FAQs

Q1: I'm having a holiday sale in my store and don't want to pay commissions on orders that have HOLIDAY discounts applied. How do I set it up so that the app automatically cancels commissions in this case?

A1:

In this example, if the order has a coupon whose name contains "HOLIDAY" applied, it will not be tracked nor given any commissions.

Q2: I want to give affiliates a 10% commission for bringing new customers but only 5% if it's old customers that they bring. How do I set it up so that the app automatically gives different commission amounts for these customer groups?

A2:

In this example, if the customer is old, the commission will be 5% [Please keep in mind that a default commission (for new customers) must be set up as 10% first. You can also achieve the same result if setting up the default commission as 5% and the advanced commission rule as Customer - New - 10% here.]

Q3. I want to use Lifetime tracking, but only if I can make Lifetime Commission gradually decrease after each order is created. How do I set it up so that the Lifetime Commission is 10% for the first order and 5% for subsequent orders?

A3: To be able to set up different commissions based on Lifetime tracking, Lifetime commission must first be enabled.

In this example, the commission that affiliates receive for their subsequent orders will be 5% (please keep in mind that a default commission must be set up as 10% first).
