Automatic adjustments for refunded orders

There are two cases in the commissions that will remain unchanged, and two in the commissions that will be changed.

1. Commissions remain unchanged

  • You already paid affiliates these commissions before the refund.

  • You pay a custom amount of refund instead of selecting item(s) to give the refund.

2. Commissions are adjusted

If you give the refund by selecting item(s) in the order< BixGrow will reverse the previous commission calculations and deduct commissions based on the product(s) refunded. If some selected items in the order were refunded, the affiliate will receive a partial commission. If all items in the order were refunded, the affiliate will not receive any commission for that order at all.

As paid commissions can't be deducted even if the original order was refunded, it's recommended to pay your affiliates not immediately but only after the return time limit specified in your store's Return Policy (for example, after 15 days from the order was placed). Also, please select items from the order you need to refund instead of paying a custom amount of refund.
